S-R-H-H Presents: Three Highly Recommended Albums of 2013

S-R-H-H Entertainment presents some of the best albums of 2013 so far. This is not a final rank of the year or anything, just some early thoughts on the best albums so far.

* The albums are rated with no particular order

SADISTIK - FLOWERS FOR MY FATHER (Fake Four Inc.)

Sadistik's "Flowers For My Father" was a highly anticipated album for many of the big hip hop heads around the world, and the album did not disappoint the fans. "Flowers For My Father" is a true masterpiece from start to finish. With Sadistik's deep and soul touching lyrics, true a very emotional album written for his Father, who unfortunately died shortly after his release of his debut album "The Balancing Act" in 2008. The album also offers deep productions - through the whole album, mostly produced by Blue Sky Black Death .

"Kill The King" produced by Kno of Cunninlynguists, "Russian Roulette" produced by Blue Sky Black Death, "The Beast" produced by Blue Sky Black Death, "City In Amber" produced by Blue Sky Black Death, and the list goes on. It's just to name a few! The album is nearly perfect, and we could seriously just go on with the track listing for this album.

If you still haven't heard this album, it's not to late. You don't want to miss this piece of art(!)

KILLAH PRIEST - THE PSYCHIC WORLD OF WALTER REED (Proverbs Records)

The veteran emcee, formerly of Sunz of Man, and early Wu-Tang affiliate, Killah Priest, delivers one of the greatest albums of 2013 so far. "The Psychic World of Walter Reed" is absolutely amazing. Hes know as one of the pioneers in conscious hip hop and he released maybe his best album to date (And his discography is full of gems). The Priest is going hard as always, with supreme lyrics and delivery over some fantastic beats from a lot of great producers. S-R-H-H would like to highlight Kalisto's beats, tho' the whole album is offering solid productions. "They Say" produced by Kalisto, "Developing Story", "New Reality" produced by Jordan River Banks, "The Winged People" produced by St. Peter, and "The Elders
Gave Us Aura" produced by Agallah The Don, is just a very few of the songs I could think of.

This album is just like Sadistik's album "Flowers For My Father" full of gems. This two albums is tho a bit different, but in common it's real hip hop to the core!

VIMANAS PROJECT - VIMANAS PROJECT VOL. 1 (Revolt Motion Recordings)

"Vimanas Project Vol. 1" by Vimanas Project, consisting of Atma, Son Of Satya, Jahnaga Baba, Riishii G7, Kalki, Surya Devi, and Anahata Sacred Sound Current. The album is clearly one of the highlights this year. It's released on Revolt Motion Recordings (Which makes KdawG very happy and proud to be a part of). S-R-H-H tell you this to point out that the album would have had a clear position on this list regardless of the membership. It's a very unique album, and no one else in the game makes it exactly the same way as Vimanas Project. It's a super group consisting of well respected and up and coming artists, all of which have strong solo albums out to date.

It's really needless to mention that this artists is technically good, and if you're familiar with earlier released works from this artists in solo projects etc., you already know where this guys comes from.

The album offers incredible productions, by Anahata Sacred Sound Current, filled with a lot of different instruments, as well as the emcees is on point with their lyrics and delivery. It's not important to say very much about this album, because the music and the song titles says it all: "Durga Pahimam", "Wisdom Of The Ages", "Breathing", "Karunash", "Govinda Gopala", "Closing Ceremony", and so on. You just gotta listen! You won't regret. And if you're not familiar - You will be surprised!
